My name is David Oliseh, proudly of Nigerian descent. I moved to South Africa to pursue my studies, where I completed a degree in Accounting Science and graduated in 2019.
In 2023, I entered the direct sales and marketing industry under the mentorship of Ms. Kgomotso Shihlane in Polokwane. That marked the beginning of a transformative journey—one that would shape both my personal and professional growth.
Throughout my career, I have worked on multiple high-impact campaigns, including Jet, 1Life Insurance, Old Mutual, and Edgars, among others. These experiences sharpened my understanding of customer engagement, resilience, and performance under pressure.
My journey was far from easy. The challenges of sales, the discipline required, and the constant need for growth tested me in ways I never anticipated. However, every setback became a lesson, and every struggle contributed to my development in the business world.
From early on, I carried a vision—to build something of my own and to empower others with knowledge of business and entrepreneurship. Coming from a background where neither sales nor marketing was part of my family's path, I chose to take a different road—one that is often lonely, but ultimately rewarding.
There were moments when I felt like I had lost everything. Yet, my purpose and determination kept pushing me forward. Today, I stand as the CEO of Griffen Standard Marketing, leading with resilience, vision, and a commitment to growth.
